Chance Dalton

Chance Dalton, 35, of Loveland, CO, passed away on July 25, 2026, in Colorado. He was born in Willard, OH on April 11, 1991, to the late Terri Pitzen Elliott and the late Clifford Dalton. He graduated from Hilton Head High School in Hilton Head, South Carolina where he excelled at wrestling and cross country. While still in high school, Chance began working at Hudson’s Seafood House on the Docks where he dedicated several years of service. Chance then moved to New London, OH where he resided for the past 10 years until May of 2026 when he relocated to Colorado. Chance worked in the tire service industry. He enjoyed woodworking, lawn mowing, helping family and friends, and golfing. He cherished time spent with his family and friends.

Chance is survived by his girlfriend, Corey Baumgart of Loveland, CO; his maternal grandmother, LaVonne Pitzen of Plymouth, OH; his half-sister, Tara (Brandon) Hall of Ontario, OH, half-brother, Cameron (Terry) Stockmaster of Toano, VA and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. In addition to his family, Chance also leaves behind his little Chihuahua, Maria. Chance was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford Dalton and Terri Pitzen Elliott along with his paternal grandparents, Inez and Whitfield “Gene” Dalton and maternal grandfather, James Pitzen.

Chance was an organ donor and was able to save 6 lives with his donation.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Chance’s aunt and uncle’s residence, Fred and Sandra Capelle, 4626 St Rt 162 East, New London, OH 44851 on Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m., meal to follow Celebration of Life.
