Charlene Hale, age 76, of Greenwich, passed away peacefully on March 27, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 15, 1941 in Magoffin County, KY to the late Walter and Sadie Wireman. She married Seldon Hale in 1960 and they shared nearly 60 years together. Charlene aka "Kate", was a loving wife and mother. She was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need and was very family oriented. She had worked for Kent Sporting Goods in New London and General Elastomers in Norwalk. Kate enjoyed reading and gardening. She will be missed. She is survived by her husband, Seldon; children, Bruce and Tim Hale both of Greenwich; sister, Kashetta Hale of Greenwich; special grandson, Seth Hale, 3 other grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Kate was preceded in death by her sons, Mark Wade Hale and Bryan Hale, and great-grandson, Aedon Hale. A visitation will be held on Friday, March 30, 2018 at Eastman Funeral Home 49 W Main Street, Greenwich, OH from 10 am until the time of the service at 11 am with Pastor Delmer Bailey officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwich Greenlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to Stein Hospice, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, Ohio 44870.
