IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Charles Calvin
Adams
October 17, 1933 – October 4, 2025
Charles C. Adams, 92, of Norwalk, Ohio, entered into eternal rest in heaven on October 4, 2025. He was born on September 17, 1933, in West Liberty, Kentucky, to the late Chame and Wanna (Williams) Adams.
Charlie was a very well-liked good Christian man who loved the Lord. His own salvation at an early age often provided encouragement to other believers.
He met his wife, Carol (Nutter) Adams on a blind date when she was 14 years old. They were married for 70 years, and as Charlie liked to say, they "were blind ever since". His precious, loving and kind nature gained him many friends, and his gentleness, no enemies.
Charlie worked for General Motors for 36 years, from 1951 until his retirement in 1987. He had a reputation for his meticulous cleanliness, earning him the nickname "Mr. Clean". He was saved at Calvary Baptist in Norwalk, and was a member there, and also at Norwalk Baptist Church.
He is survived by his loving wife, Carol (Nutter) Adams, and their children, Charles (Jan) Adams Jr., and Tamara Elmore; sister, Beulah Cantrell; and grandsons, Ronnie Lee Slack III, and Tyler Lee Slack.
In addition to his parents, Charlie was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Adams, and sister, Billienell Skaggs.
Visitation for Charlie will be held on Saturday, October, 11, 2025, at Norwalk Baptist Church, 2084 US-20, Norwalk, OH 44857, from 12 p.m. (noon) until the time of funeral service, which will begin at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
