Charles E. "Ed" Sines, 72, of Wellington died Monday, August 5, 2013 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born on June 29, 1941 in Oakland MD to the late Perry and Gussie (nee Uphole) Sines.
Charles worked for Republic Steel, the Wellington Police Dept., Ford Motor Co., and retired from Ridge Tool. He enjoyed his retirement, spending time with his family driving cars for Lee Shubert, and playing and watching golf.
Charles was a beloved husband, dad, and Papa; he is survived by his wife Rose (nee Sikora), children Wanda Sines, Susan Murray, Donna (Dave) Chapmon, Edward (Kim) Sines and Anna (Rob) Gibson. He is also survived by 6 brothers 2 sisters, 10 grandsons, 5 granddaughters, 4 great grandkids, and many nieces and nephews. Charles was preceded in death by his step brother Floyd, an infant daughter Gloria, son-in-law Tom Murray, Brother Eugene, and a great niece Erin.
Friends and family will be received on Friday August 9 from 1-7 p.m. at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 South Main St., Wellington where services will be held on Saturday beginning at 10 a.m. with Pastor Glen Goff officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to either Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Ave, Cleveland, 44110 or to the family.
