Charles "Charlie" Henry Davidson, 71, lifelong resident of New London, passed away on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at the Laurels of New London. He was born on December 24, 1946 in New London, son of the late Charles J. and June C. (nee Franklin) Davidson. Charlie graduated from New London High School. He worked as a machinist and construction worker. Charlie was a member of the Sons of the American Legion, New London Eagles and New London VFW. He liked bowling, golfing and hanging out with friends. He is survived by his children, Charles "Scott" (Jody Grosscup) Davidson of New London, Heather (Kevin) Robson of Wakeman, Derek (Monica) Davidson of New London and Crystal (Ray Cox) Davidson of Nova; 13 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren and sister, Sharon (Patrick) Robson of Findlay. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by several aunts, uncles and cousins. Per Charlie's wishes, he was cremated and a celebration of life will be held at 3 pm Saturday, July 7th at the New London American Legion.
