Charles 'Bo' Lacey, Jr., age 57, of Greenwich, died Sunday, March 4, 2012 at his home after a sudden illness. He was born March 4, 1955 in Willard, son of the late Charles and Charity (Shepherd) Lacy. Bo was a lifelong resident of Greenwich. He was a 1973 graduate of South Central High School. He earned his associate degree from Ashworth College. Bo worked at Festival Homes in Greenwich as Assistant Production Manager until 1976. He drove semi truck for Chill Trucking for 3 years, then owned and operated Bo Lacey Construction Co. since 1984. He was a member of the NRA. Bo loved his grandchildren. He enjoyed classic and muscle cars and drag racing.
He is survived by his wife, Charlotte (Workman) Lacey, whom he married September 15,
1974; his children, Tracy Lacey-Kieskowski of Clarksville, Tennessee, Chris (Melissa) Lacey of Greenwich, Kevin (Bridgit) Lacey of Ashland, 3 grandchildren, Gunner, Kennedy and Elijah; his siblings, Ronald Lacy, Carolyn Chaddock, Glen Lacy, Ella Mae Hammons, Rita Tolle, Gary Lacy, James Lacy, Duane Lacy and Todd Lacy; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends may call from 2'4 p.m. and 6'8 p.m. Wednesday, March 7, at the Eastman Funeral Home, 49 West Main St., Greenwich, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday with Pastor Bob Hudberg officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwich Greenlawn Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the Huron County Humane Society, 246 Woodlawn Ave., Norwalk, Ohio 44857.
