Charles William Seese, 79, of Wellington, died Thursday, July 27 at his home.  Charles was born in Flushing on May 29, 1944 to the late Charles Talbert and Grace Ann Seese.  In the early 60s, he moved to Columbus before settling in Wellington in 1968.

Charles worked for Ford for nearly 40 years. He was a member of the Wellington Auxiliary Police Department, the Wellington Eagles Aerie #2051 and the First United Congregational Church of Wellington.

An avid golfer, Charles also enjoyed bowling and played in several leagues. He loved mowing, tending his rose garden, and playing cards, especially Euchre and Solitaire.

He is survived by his wife, Diana "Sue" Seese; children, Charles Troy (Stephanie) Seese, of Medina, Tara (Christopher, Sr.) Corbo, of Currituck, NC, and Belinda Houghtlen, of Wellington; grandchildren, Charles Michael Seese, Jonathon Allen Seese, Margaret Farrell, Austin Houghtlen and Madison Houghtlen. Charles is also survived by his siblings, Sandra Nicholes, of Uhrichsville and Patricia Wycoff, of Flushing. He was preceded by his daughter, Beth in 1985 and brothers, David and Michael.

Family and friends will be received from 10 am until the time of an 11 am funeral service on Tuesday, August 1 at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 S. Main St., Wellington. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Wellington. Donations in Charles' memory may be directed to either the Wellington Senior Bus, 115 Willard Memorial Sq, or Well-Help, 127 Park Place.
