Norwalk, Ohio - Charlotte J. Chaffin, 86, passed away on Sunday, March, 13, 2016, in Norwalk Memorial Home, Norwalk, Ohio. She was born December, 20, 1929, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Walter and Maybelle (Humpert) Sellman, and in 1959, moved to Wakeman, Ohio, from Wayne, Michigan. Charlotte was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Wakeman, Ohio, where she also taught Catechism. She was a former sewer at Norwalk Furniture, and in addition to sewing, she enjoyed toll painting, reading, and arts and crafts. Charlotte is survived by her husband of 65 years, Charles R. Chaffin, of Norwalk, Ohio, by her son, Michael (Karen) Chaffin, of Collins, Ohio, and by her grandsons, Justin Chaffin and Troy and Jennifer Chaffin, of Collins, Ohio, by her great granddaughter, Gabriella Chaffin, and by her sisters in law, Carol Sellman and Joanne Sellman. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Bernard Sellman, and Del Sellman, and by her sisters, Sr. Gerry Sellman, and Fran Anderson. There will be no calling hours. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2016, at 10:30 a.m. in St. Mary's Catholic Church, 46 E. Main St. Wakeman, Ohio 44889. Rev. Doug Taylor will officiate. Inurnment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, 64 E. Main St. Wakeman, Ohio. Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church. Send Condilences
