Charlotte M. Resor

Charlotte M. Resor, 86, a lifelong resident of the area, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2026, at The Laurels of New London. She was born on April 25, 1939, in Norwalk, Ohio, to the late Lewis and Josephine (Willen) Myers.

Charlotte worked for Maple City Rubber in Norwalk, for over 50 years before her retirement in 2006. She was a faithful member of the Norwalk Alliance Church.

Charlotte enjoyed cooking, gardening, jigsaw puzzles, collecting items with butterflies, and cherishing any time spent with her many grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Doug and Patti Resor, Rick and Kati Resor, Sandy and Keith King, and Jim and Becky Resor; 26 grandchildren; 60 great grandchildren; and lots and lots of great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Resor Sr; sons, Florian “Red” Resor, and Danny “Dan” Resor; and siblings, Elsie Armstrong, Jeri Houser, George Myers, Doris Guckert, Donny Myers, William Myers (5 months old), Pauline Moon, Kenny Myers, John Myers, Maybelle Dillan, Johann Myers, and a baby sister in infancy.

Visitation for Charlotte will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main St., Norwalk, from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. (noon). A funeral service will begin at 12 p.m. (noon) with Pastor Kevin Seager officiating. Burial will follow the funeral service at Meadow Green Cemetery in Huron.
