Charmalee "Susie" Fuller

April 12, 1931 – July 28, 2021

Charmalee "Susie" Fuller, 90, of Norwalk, passed away Wednesday evening, July 28, 2021 at Grandma's Place Home Care in New London. Susie was born on April 12, 1931 in Norwalk, OH to the late Leon and Naomi (Shilling) Downing. She attended Norwalk High School.

Susie owned and operated Charmalee's Tropical Fish store and later worked at Fannie Farmer's. She retired from General Motors after 10 years of dedicated employment. Susie was a member of the Norwalk VFW and the Norwalk Eagles. Susie enjoyed floral arrangements, ceramics, jewelry and cake decorating. She had a vast love for music, especially playing her organ and steel guitar. At a young age, she performed on the radio and gave music lessons. Susie was an animal lover and especially enjoyed taking care of her cats.

Susie is survived by her children, Larry (Kathy) Fuller of New London, Daniel Fuller of North Fairfield, Lisa (Bob) Schields of Huron and Terry (Monica) Fuller of Dublin; 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Susie was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Fuller whom passed in 2001 and sisters, Beverly McCain and Carol Scheetz.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 2, 2021 from 10 am until the time of funeral service at 11:30 am at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main Street, Norwalk, OH 44857. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
