Chelsie Marie Perkins-Johnson, 29, of Dickinson, North Dakota, passed away unexpectedly on January 7, 2018 at her home. She was born July 7, 1988 in Ashland, Ohio to Thomas Perkins and the late Traci Huff-Perkins. Chelsie attended Hillsdale High School and graduated from Ashland High School. She was a selfless person who truly enjoyed helping others. She loved the outdoors, her family, friends and fiancé, and her dog "Mollie". Survivors include her fiancé, Chris Vinson; father, Thomas and Cathy Perkins; step children, Aiyana Johnson, Kai Johnson, Kane Johnson & Dominic Johnson; sisters, Amanda Perkins and Sabrina Perkins; brother, Jessie Lee; grandfather, Clarence Lee; step-granddaughter Alivia Brownfield; nephews, Keegan Memphis and JP Lee; niece, Annastacia Lee; aunts, Kristy and Floyd Devore; cousin, Carrie Huff; she is also survived by numerous other aunts, uncles and other family. She was preceded in death by her mother, Traci Huff-Perkins; siblings, Henry and Crystal; grandparents, Fannie and Jerry Perkins and Henry and Brenda Huff; step sister, Amber Lynn Blackert; aunt, Tammy Huff and numerous other aunts, uncles and other family. A visitation will be held at Eastman Funeral Home, New London on Friday, January 12th from 5 pm - 7 pm and again on Saturday from 9 am until the time of the service at 10 am. Burial is planned to follow in Ashland County Memorial Park if weather permits. Memorial contributions may be directed to Eastman Funeral Home in care of the family.
