Christine (nee Harvey) Hamilton, 58, of Nova, Ohio went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday evening, November 6, 2009 at Hospice of North Central Ohio in Ashland. She was born on November 21, 1950 in Betsy Layne, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Webster and Virginia (nee Lawson) Harvey. On June 27, 1970, Christine married the love of her life, Albert Hamilton, Jr. in New London and they went on to share 39 wonderful years together. Upon completing her STNA, she was a caregiver to patients who were confined to their homes. Most important to Christine was her role as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. A woman of deep faith, Chris read and studied her bible daily. She was baptized January of 1994 at the First Baptist Church. Chris had the hands of a doer; she enjoyed doing things to their home, whether it was painting, staining, mowing the lawn or planting vegetables in the garden or flowers outside around her house. A special place existed in her heart for each member of her family and her friends. Chris enjoyed cooking meals for family get-togethers and holidays. Family was very important in her life. She always made everyone feel welcome in her home. Christine will be missed dearly by her husband, Al; her two sons, Brad (Jen) Hamilton and their daughter, Laney of Perrysburg, Barry (Jordan) Hamilton and their children, Alec, Jacob and Stella of Maumee; five sisters, Anna Lea Hall, Evaleen Case, Myrtle Boyd, all of Kentucky, Rue Vonne Carroll, Sharon Goodman, both of New London; three brothers, James Harvey of Norwalk, Duane Harvey and Webster Sanders, Jr. both of New London and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and loved ones. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Keith Hamilton; a brother, Robert Gayle Harvey and a sister, Juanita Sue Harvey. Private family services were held at Eastman Funeral Home with Pastor Charles Mead officiating and Christine's nephew, Greg Hall, delivering the eulogy.
