Clara M. Willey

Clara M. Willey, 86, of Greenwich, passed away peacefully on March 27, 2026, at The Good Shepherd in Ashland. She was born on May 7, 1939, to the late John and Edna (Seville) Nebergall, and was the oldest of ten children.

Clara made her home in Greenwich for more than 50 years and was a graduate of Savannah High School. She was employed at Pioneer Rubber Company for several years before marrying her husband, Luie A. Willey, on June 1, 1974. She then embraced her most cherished role as a mother to her son, Marvin.

A devoted member of Adario Church, Clara found great joy in teaching Sunday School. She had a deep love for working with children and generously gave her time to mentoring students at South Central schools and mission work with Adario church. Clara was also a dedicated fan of the Cleveland Guardians and enjoyed cheering on her team.

She is survived by her son, Marvin (Noelle) Willey; her beloved grandson, Matthew Willey; her siblings, Thomas (Elaine) Nebergall, Donnie Nebergall, Sally (Jim) Eagle, Janet Nalley, Marty (John) Landis; and in-laws, Janet Nebergall, Loa Nebergall, Velma Free, and Liz Willey.

In addition to her parents, Clara was preceded in passing by her husband, Luie A. Willey, in 2010; her brothers, John, James, and Dennis Nebergall; her sister, Betty Williams, her in-laws, Nancy Nebergall, Karen Nebergall, Rod Williams, and Don Nalley; and many beloved family members.

Visitation will be held on April 1, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Eastman Funeral Home, 49 West Main St., Greenwich. An additional visitation will take place on April 2, 2026, at Adario Church, 1790 Adario East Rd., Shiloh, Ohio, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of Clara’s funeral service at 12:00 p.m. (noon). Burial will follow at Adario Cemetery after the church service.
