Obituary

Clyde Shepherd, 80, of Shiloh, Ohio died Monday, May 24, 2021 at his home under the care of Hospice of North Central Ohio. Born in Floyd County, KY on July 1, 1940, Clyde was the son of the late Adis and Minnie (nee Hicks) Shepherd. He was a handyman who enjoyed hunting. Clyde also loved driving his tractor and riding his four-wheeler.

He is survived by his siblings, Mreadith (Ronald) Spoerr, of Shiloh, Geneva (Henry) Calame, of Greenwich, Gevone (Charles) Bailey, of Nova, Larby (Virgil) Dye, of Ashland, David (Karen) Shepherd, of Polk; brother-in-law, Donald Welter; several nieces and nephews and his special companion, Chubb, his beloved Jack Russell.

Clyde was preceded in death by his sister, Ethel Welter and sister and brother-in-law, Amy and Theodore Smith.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Savannah Cemetery. Memorial donations are suggested to Hospice of North Central Ohio, 1021 Dauch Dr., Ashland, OH 44805. Condolences and fond memories may be shared online at: www.eastmanfuneralhome.com.
