Cynthia J. Wright, 53, of Wakeman, Ohio, passed away on October 24, 2024, at Cleveland MetroHealth Hospital.  She was born on January 10, 1971, in Sandusky, Ohio, to the late Dennis G. and Iva Lou (Oates) Timbs.  Cyndi graduated from Western Reserve High School/EHOVE in 1989.

An avid sports fan, Cyndi cheered for the Guardians, Buckeyes, and Steelers.  She was a friend to everyone and a very loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. She enjoyed traveling, especially trips to Tennessee.

Cyndi was a hard worker, most recently at Ventra Plastics in Sandusky, but she had worked at Apples Grocery, McDonald's, R & L Trucking, Homberger Trucking, and also as a "Stay at home Mimi".

Cyndi is survived by her loving husband of 22 years, James Wright; daughter, Mersaydeze (David Stein) Timbs; son, Blayke (Emma Cooley) Wright; grandson, Brexston Stein; sisters, Cheryl (Alvaro) Leon, Christine (Richard) Carroll; cousin (who was like a sister), Jeannie Samuels; best friend (also like a sister) Hope Gilbert; mother in-law, Cheryl Wright; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and many cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, James and Jean Oates, and aunt, Iva Lynn Oates.

A visitation for Cyndi will be held on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main St., Norwalk, from 4-7 p.m.  A celebration of life is being planned for a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations are encouraged to the family to help setup a college fund for Cyndi's grandson.  Expressions of sympathy may be made online by visiting: www.walkereastmanheydingerfh.com
