Dale A. Wilson, age 68, of Greenwich, died Monday, November 24, 2008 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo after an apparent heart attack. He was born July 17, 1940 in Norwalk. He had lived most of his life in the Greenwich area. He had served in the U.S.Army 82nd Air Borne. Dale had worked at R.R. Donnelley's and Pioneer Balloon both of Willard, Akron Standard Mold in Greenwich, Ohio Advanced Machine in Lorain, he sold insurance for Monumental Life Ins. in the early 1970's and he also taught machine trades at Pioneer Joint Vocational School. He enjoyed archery and fast draw competition, hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Rebecca (Creveling) Wilson; 4 sons, Rodney W. Wilson of Plymouth, Charles B. Wilson of Greenwich, Derrick A. Wilson of Shelby, Troy Hiltbrunner of Dayton; 7 grandchildren; his brother, Marlin Wilson of Greenwich. He was preceded in death by his father, Earl E. Wilson, his mother and stepfather, Norma E. (Woodring) and Earl Ebinger.
