Daniel W. (Bud) Hall, 85, of Mansfield, died Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at Ohio Health Hospital, Mansfield.  Mr. Hall was born February 7, 1938, in Grahn, Ky to the late Lillie (Mosier) and Daniel N. Hall. Daniel was a veteran of the US Army and served during the Vietnam War. He was a crane operator at AK Steel until retirement.  Bud enjoyed watching wrestling, Pittsburg Steelers, Guardians and Yankee games on TV, listening to country music especially gospel bluegrass, reading true crime stories and doing puzzle books.

Mr. Hall is survived by his wife of 61 years who he married November 16, 1961, Ola (Miller) Hall; 2 children, Dan Hall of Mansfield and Sheri (Chris) Hall-Lee of Shelby; 2 grandchildren, Daniel Lee and Jessee Lee; 3 sisters, Violet (Lloyd) Jordan of Shelby, Darlene (Roy) Rachel of TN, and Barbara (Steve) Easterling of Mansfield.  He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Jesse, Leo, John, James, Mary Magdalene, Sarah Jane and Tilda Yvonne.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 4, 2023, from 1-2 PM with a funeral service beginning at 2:00 PM at Eastman Funeral Home, 200 W. Main Street, New London. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, New Haven with military rites.  Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude through the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.eastmanfuneralhome.com.
