Daniel "Dan" D. Kennedy, 70, residing in Milan, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Sunday, April 3, 2022, at Stein Hospice Care Center in Sandusky.

Dan was born on May 2, 1951, in Toledo, OH to the late Clayton and Doris (Beebe) Kennedy. He grew up in the Toledo area and graduated from Anthony Wayne High School in 1969.

Immediately following graduation, Dan was employed at Chrysler Toledo Machining for 12 years before becoming a registered nurse. He worked at various Toledo area hospitals for 30 years in varying capacities. Dan had a sense of adventure and enjoyed trying different things. In his spare time, he enjoyed camping, 4-wheeling, and spending time with his wife and their dogs. Dan's greatest joy of all was watching his grandchildren participate in sports.

Dan is survived by his loving wife, Robin (Kroon) Kennedy, whom he married on November 4, 1972; daughter, Laura (Troy) Pittenger of Norwalk; 3 grandchildren, Jack, Wes, and Kate; sister, Margaret (Roger) Goad of Marblehead; and 4 nieces, Amy, Missy, Robin, and Renee.

In addition to his parents, Dan was preceded in death by his daughter, Mary Kathryn, who passed away in infancy.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 7, 2022, from 11 am until the time of funeral services at 1 pm at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main Street, Norwalk, OH 44857. Burial will be held on Friday, April 8, 2022, at 11 am at Roth Cemetery in Monclova township.
