Obituary

Daniel Duane Settlemire, 56, entered the presence of Lord God Almighty, on Tuesday, July 17, 2012 after a lengthy illness. He was born on February 13, 1956 to Ralph Settlemire and Wanda L. (nee Lattimer) Bainter. Daniel graduated from Girard High School and attended both Youngstown and Toledo Universities, he later joined the United States Air force. He owned and operated Medina Currier. Daniel was a member of the Wellington VFW and the American Legion. He attended Penfield Community Church, and was active with the Wellington Relay for Life. Daniel enjoyed sports, whether it was watching them or playing, he was a flag football coach in wellington as well. Daniel was also a fan of the band Chicago and enjoyed listening to them and attending concerts. Daniel is survived by his precious daughters, Sabrina Lynn Stettlemire and family of Wellington, Angela Marie Quintanar (Zachary) and granddaughter Ryane Delores Quintanar of San Marcos, CA and his beloved, Laura Renee Hartley and son of Wellington. Other survivors include his father, Ralph Duane Settlemire (Lee) and family of Bradenton, FL, his mother Wanda Lou Bainter (nee Lattimer) of Dunedin, FL, sister Robin Renee Holden and family of Warren, brothers David Duane Settlemire (Temple) and family of Dunedin, FL, Daron Duane Settlemire (Yvonne) and family of Bradenton, FL. Daniel will be in the hearts of his dear cousin David Bealer (Mendie) and Family of Wellington and his sister-in-Christ, Sally D. Harris of Tipton, MI, as well as a number of family members in the Wellington and Circleville areas. Friends and family will be received on Sunday, July 22, from 4-7 p.m. with a memorial service beginning at 7 p.m. at the Penfield Community Church, 40775 St. Rt. 18, Rev. David Lattimer and Pastor Chris Reutepohler officiating. A graveside service will be held on Monday at 11 a.m at Greenwood Cemetery, Wellington. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be directed to the Penfield community Church building fund.
