Danny C. Hamilton, 63, of Nova, passed away peacefully at his home on May 18, 2017. He was born on February 17, 1954 in Prestonsburg, Kentucky, son of the late Garfield and Edna (nee Tackett) Hamilton. Danny married Roxie (nee Wallen) on June 12, 1971 and shared 45 years and 11 months together. Danny retired in 2007 from Ford Motor Company in Lorain after 32 years. He was a member of the Little Pilgrims Home Church for 38 years, Local 425 and 2000 UAW. He is survived by his loving wife, Roxie; children, Becky (Kevin) Drotleff, Diana (Rod) Feller, Sandy (Rob) Cline, Danail (Jesse Howell) Hamilton and Elisabeth (Mark) Pritt; grandchildren, Melany Hamilton (raised by Danny and Roxie), Allie (Donnie), Cassie (Nate), Kaila, Danny, Allison, Autumn, Michael, Kenny, Jimmy, Taylor, Little Roxie, Nick, KC and Jr.; great-grandchildren, Kaydence, Madison, Mason, Harleigh, Gracie, Thomas and Karoline and siblings, Genive "Gen" Shipley, Goldie Hunter and Ernest (Pricilla) Hamilton. In addition to his parents; Danny was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Hamilton; sister, Polly Hamilton and great-granddaughter, Kylie Dawson. A visitation will be held from 2-6 p.m. on Sunday, May 21, 2017 at Little Pilgrims Home Church, 1487 US Highway 224, Greenwich with an evening service at 6 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, May 22, 2017 at the Little Pilgrims Home Church with Elder Eddie Wallen and Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating.
