Norwalk, Ohio - Darren J. Mingus, 50, of Norwalk, passed away Saturday, December 19, 2015 in his home. He was born July 23, 1965 in New London, Ohio, to the late Ronald J. Mingus and Donna J. (Allen) Mingus, and was a lifelong area resident. He attended New London High School, and had worked for Faulhaber Manufacturing, Monroeville, Ohio, Old Town Windows, Norwalk, Ohio, and was a driver for Huron County Services for the Aging. He especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, NASCAR and fishing. Darren is survived by his wife of 28 years, Julie M. (Naylor) Mingus, of Norwalk, Ohio, by his son, Spencer A. Mingus, of Norwalk, Ohio, and by his daughter, Shelby M. Mingus, of Norwalk, Ohio. He is also survived by his siblings, Valerie Tetrick and Brian (Anna) Mingus, both of Norwalk, Ohio, by 2 grandchildren, Skyler and Maya Mingus, by his mother in law, Marlene C. Naylor of Norwalk, Ohio, by his sister in law, Jackie Mullins of Medina, Ohio, and by his brother in law, James Naylor of Texas. There will be no calling hours. Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main St., Norwalk, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mingus family.
