Darrin Coward, 50, residing in Norwalk, lost his battle with cancer, Thursday, March 16, 2023, at Firelands Regional Medical Center in Sandusky.

Darrin was born in Oberlin, OH, on June 15, 1972, to the late Marge (Boner) Coward and Bob Coward.

Darrin was a hard worker and was employed by Newcomer and Rockstar Concrete. In his spare time, he enjoyed attending car shows and taking care of his dogs. Darrin had a giving heart and was known to give neighbors and friends a family name stone. He liked to drop it off when they weren't home as a surprise gift. Darrin was a gentle giant and would help anyone in need.

Darrin is survived by his loving wife, Karen (Norris) Coward, whom he married on October 8, 2010; sister, Kim (Brian) Watts of Fremont, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Darrin was preceded in death by his parents, Marge (Boner) Coward and Bob Coward.

A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, March 23, 2023, from 6 pm to 8 pm at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main Street, Norwalk, OH 44857.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Coward Family, care of Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home to assist with expenses.
