David Cline, 78, passed away at his home on April 14, 2021 after a short illness.  Dave was born on July 1, 1942 in New London, Ohio and was a life-long resident.  He graduated from New London High School, Class of 1960.

He worked at the CE Ward Company from 1960 thru 1987 and was in charge of the metal plant and sword department from 1967 to 1987.  In 1988, he founded the U S Sword Company, retiring in 2004. Dave loved to watch old movies; he enjoyed visiting Cedar Point and Disney World.  He was a big fan of the Cleveland Indians.  He cherished time spent with the love of his life, Laura for over 50 years.

Dave is survived by his wife, Laura (Krumroy); daughter, Michelle Cline of New London; son, Michael Cline of Seattle, Washington and his sister, Patty Schaffer of Ashland.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Henry Cline of New London.
