David Henry Gott, 84, a lifelong Wellington resident, died Monday, April 10, 2023 at home under the care of Hospice of the Western Reserve. Born on November 24, 1938, he was the son of the late Carl and Edna Gott. David was a 1958 graduate of Wellington High School. Following graduation, he served in the United States Army.

David was a commercial electrician with Local 129. He had a love for all things fast and enjoyed racing motorcycles, drag racing, and collecting old cars. David also enjoyed traveling with his wife Sue.

Survivors include his loving wife of 45 years, Susan (nee Bartish) Gott; daughters, Lysa Korkis, of California, Kim Gott, of Toledo, and Jennifer Corsi, of Medina; grandchildren, Izzy Korkis, Hudson Korkis, Jordan Weipp, Levi Gott, Jared O'Hare, Regan Moitoret, and Gavin Moitoret; great grandchildren, Elliott Moitoret and Lylah Kennedy; and his brother, Edwin Gott. David was preceded in death by his parents, Carl Gott, Edna Perkins, and stepfather, Curley Perkins.
