Obituary

David Dean Kime, 87, of Greenwich, died Wednesday, June 25, 2014, at Crestwood Care Center in Shelby. He was born in July of 1926 in Shelby to the late Bryan Alfred and Ruby Gladys (nee Manahan) Kime. Dean Joined the United States Navy in 1944 and served during WWII. Dean was a truck driver for W.L. Mead, Mid State, and Spectra. He also enjoyed farming on his family's farm in Greenwich and was an avid Cleveland Browns fan. Dean is survived by his siblings Charlotte Baldauf of Marion, Robert (Colleen) Kime of FL, and Lawrence Kime of Cridersville. he is also survived by nieces and nephews Robin (Tom) Peacock, Deborah (Gary) Spangler, Jill (James) Blunt, Amber (Christopher) Burkett, and Jeffrey Kime, and his beloved cat Tom. He was preceded in death by his brother-in-law Raymond Baldauf. Friends and family will be received on Monday, June 30 from 1p.m. until the time of services beginning at 2 p.m. at Eastman Funeral Home, 49 West Main Street, Greenwich, 44837, burial will follow at Edwards Grove Cemetery, Greenwich.
