David Henry Liedorff

David Henry Liedorff, 84, of Wellington, passed away on March 23, 2026, at Mercy Lorain Hospital. Born in Huntington Township on March 3, 1942, David lived in the Lorain County area his entire life and graduated from Black River High School in 1961.

An HVAC specialist, David owned and operated Liedorff Heating and Plumbing and taught classes at the Lorain County JVS on the subject. David enjoyed woodworking, building things for people, and working on puzzles.

Survivors include his wife, June (Kern) Liedorff; children, Jill (Francis) Bean, of Oberlin, Michael (Pamela) Liedorff, of Andrews, TX, and Daniel (Dawn) Liedorff, of Wakeman; grandchildren, Alaina (David) Zielinski, Nick (Kajal) Liedorff, Justin (Candace) Bean, Rachael Bean, Keagen Garner, and Joshua Ivey; great grandchildren, Mali, Kylie, Brantley, Levi, and Kennedy; and sister, Marilyn. David was preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Mary (Pratt) Liedorff; his beloved wife of 62 years, Elaine; sister, Evelyn; and brother, Leron.

Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 S. Main St., Wellington.
