David Dean McConnell, 83, of Wellington, died on Sunday, February 21, 2021 at Avon Cleveland Clinic following a short illness. Born on April 7, 1937 in Pittsfield, he was the son of the late Delva (nee Koons) and William McConnell. He was a lifelong Pittsfield resident and attended Wellington High School.

Dave enjoyed working on the dairy farm and in his earlier years he was involved in 4H where he showed Ayrshire cattle. He enjoyed country music and was an avid Elvis Presley fan. He also enjoyed bowling and attending the Lorain County Fair. Left to treasure his memory is his sister, Lois Baumann. He is preceded in death by his siblings, Clarence McConnell and Mary Lou Broud. A private graveside service will be held at a later date at Pittsfield Cemetery.
