David Michael Baker, 27, of Wellington, passed away unexpectedly Monday, August 7, 2017. Born on August 24, 1989, he was the son of David Baker and Christin (nee Chuha) Baker. He was a graduate from Wellington High School in 2008. He was currently employed as the kitchen manager at Dog Tracks Diner, where he was considered family instead of an employee. David was known for being charismatic and having a big personality. He could light up a whole room and was always willing to help people. He was quick witted and knew how to make people laugh. He was well liked and loved by those who knew him. Most of all, he was an amazing father and loved his children. Survivors include his two precious children Logan Baker (Alexandria Flood) and Evelyn Rose; his girlfriend Kristin Nicole Resor; parents Christin Baker (Vince Vega) and David Baker (Linda); brother, Dylan Baker; step-sisters, Amanda Maddon and Jessica Sizemore; grandparents Lucille Stokes, Bruce and Theresa Chuha and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Lloyd Stokes, Bud and Alberta Baker. Friends and family will be received on Friday, August 18, 2017 from 6-9 at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 South Main Street Wellington, where services will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at 11 am. Bill Resor will officiate. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Norton-Eastman Funeral Home in c/o his children.
