IN LOVING MEMORY OF
David "Dave"
Neiding
July 13, 1945 – August 23, 2022
On Tuesday, August 23, 2022, Dave Neiding lost his long battle with ongoing health issues. Berlin Heights was home for most of his life. This is where he raised his family, farmed in the early part of his life, and ran a business in the middle and later part of his life.
Dave loved his family, friends, animals, and customers. He loved being in the countryside, nurturing his land, and helping others. He was resourceful, kind-hearted, strong yet gentle, and the absolute definition of hardworking. While generally a man of few words, he had a knack for making those around him comfortable and knowing just what to say when he did speak up.
His compassionate nature was well known by those close to him. His family and customers will remember his sweet love for his kitty cats. He enjoyed views of nature, farmland, and wildlife when he took relaxing drives with his family.
Those close and left behind include his daughter, Missy (Paul) Kudela; his son, Matt (Jen) Neiding; his grandchildren, Angie, Thomas, Mandy, Jacob, and Ethan; cousins and close friends Ernie and Earl Coultrip; and close friend June Dabney.
A private family memorial service is planned for Sunday, August 28, 2022. Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home is honored to assist the family with arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Ohio Living Hospice of Toledo, OH or the Erie County Humane Society of Sandusky, OH.
