Norwalk, Ohio - David F. Schick, 70, of Norwalk, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2015 in Fairview Hospital, Fairview Heights, Ohio. He was born December 9, 1944 in Biloxi, Mississippi, to the late Frank and Dorothy (Smith) Schick, and was a lifelong Monroeville and Norwalk, Ohio resident. David graduated from Monroeville High School in 1962, and from Cleveland State University in 1967. He was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, and was an engineer at New Departure Hyatt (GMAC) in Sandusky, Ohio retiring in 1999. David enjoyed golf, bowling, flying model airplanes, fishing, boating, skiing, camping, and vintage cars. He was a devoted husband, and loving father, and grandfather. David is survived by his wife of 47 years, Karen R. (Kluding) Schick of Norwalk, Ohio, by his children, Brian D. (Lori, and her son Karlo) Schick of Brunswick, Ohio, and Theresa M. Schick of Houston, Texas, and by his grandchildren, Kaela and Faisil. He is also survived by his brother, William (Claranne) Schick of Norwalk, Ohio, and by his nieces, Debbi Conti and Angie Charville. Friends may call on Friday, November 20, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in St. Paul Catholic Church, 91 East Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio. Rev. Paul Schreiner will officiate.
