David F. Skinner, 65, of Wellington, died Monday, April 29, 2013, at home after a brief illness. He was born March 4, 1948 in Norwalk, Ohio, son of the late Lloyd and Evelyn (nee Freeman) Skinner.
He spent his childhood years in Wakeman, Ohio before settling in the Wellington area in early 1960's. David attended Wellington schools graduating in 1966. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He retired from Ford Motor Company in 1991 and served briefly on Wellington Village Council. Always a prankster, Dave enjoyed family gatherings and watching television.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Marsa A. (nee Sheffield) Skinner; his children, Rob Skinner, Dave (Missy) Skinner, Adam Skinner, all of Wellington, Samantha (Simon) Gorham of Arlington, TX; and 8 grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Nancy (DeSanto) of Elyria.
