David T. Cory Sr., 75, of Norwalk, died on March 14, 2020 at Stein Hospice Care Center in Sandusky.  He was born on June 10, 1944 in Norwalk to the late Horace and Thelma (Fisher) Cory.

David attended Norwalk High School and served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War.  He worked for the former Janesville plant, and was a member of the Norwalk Eagles 711, and former member of the Norwalk V.F.W Post 2743.

Dave was an avid outdoorsman who especially enjoyed hunting and fishing.  He loved animals and cherished his grandchildren.  One of his favorite things to do was to go to Casa Fiesta with his loving wife Bernie, for beer and tacos, and visit their good friend Gustavo.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Bernadette "Bernie" (Mason) Cory; sons, David Cory Jr. and John Cory; grandchildren, Brittney Dietrich and Kyle Cory, and nephew Tommy Cory.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Tom and sister, Lavonda.
