David Allen Stoll, 74, of Norwalk, Ohio passed away on Monday, August 16, 2021. He was born on March 16, 1947 to the late Thelma (Bischoff) and Joseph Stoll.
In 1965, Dave graduated from St. Paul High School. After graduation, he served in the Vietnam War in the United States Army, where he earned the Combat Infantry Badge, Sharpshooter Badge, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Purple Heart, and two Oversea s Bars. Dave worked as a concrete finisher for several concrete companies and retired from Smith Paving and Excavating in 2010.
Dave was a member of the Norwalk VFW Post 2743, Norwalk Eagles #711, and the Norwalk American Legion Post 41. In his free time, he enjoyed crosswords, playing cards (especially euchre), and was a fan of Cleveland sports.
He is survived by his children, Carrie (Bobby) Pocock and Kevin Stoll; grandchild, Kaiden Colish; siblings, Marge (Lou) Enderle, Jerry (Kathy) Stoll, and Sue Scott; and many nieces, nephews, and other family members.
In addition to his parents, Dave was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Stoll Jr.; and brother-in-law, Sherman Scott.
His family will receive guests at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio 44857 on Friday, August 20, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 5:00 p.m. Dave's family will hold a graveside service at St. Paul Catholic Cemetery, Norwalk, Ohio on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. Online condolences may be expressed by visiting walkereastmanheydingerfh.com
