Deanna M. Scott, 74, of Norwalk, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at the Willows at Willard. She was born on April 2, 1951, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Raymond W. and Barbara J. (Bombard) Scott and graduated from Roseville High School.
After Detroit, Deanna lived in several other places but most notably was Charlottesville, Virginia, where she was part of the Neurological Research Department at the University of Virginia. She also worked in staff development and sales.
Deanna loved singing and was part of the “Sweet Adalines, Just for Keeps” musical quartet.
She is survived by her son, Scott Krueger; grandson, Tallan Krueger; siblings, Michael (Elaina) Scott, Gerald (Ramona) Scott, Jennifer (Paul) Naife, Heidi Hockett, Jay “Grant” (Angela) Kaatz, and multiple cousins, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her father and step-mother Ray and Lois Scott, her mother and step father Barb and Bob Kaatz ,her son, Kyle Hart Scott, and brother, David Scott.
In keeping with Deanna’s wishes, she will be cremated with no public services planned at this time. Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, Norwalk, is honored to assist the family with Deanna’s arrangements and care. Online condolences may be expressed by visiting: www.walkereastmanheydingerfh.com
