Deborah Lynn Barber, 60, passed away on Friday November 13, 2020 at Stein Hospice, Sandusky, Ohio from injuries sustained October 22, 2020 in an automobile accident in Cleveland, Ohio.

Debbie was born May 15, 1960 in Norwalk, Ohio, the daughter of James R. Seiling Sr. and Betty I. (Smith) Seiling.

She was married to Alvin "Dale" Barber for 40 years, after their union on July 14, 1980.

Debbie was an accomplished graphic artist and enjoyed painting and embroidery projects and decorating cakes for friends and family.

She worked at various local car dealers as a title clerk and at The Milan Police Department and The Erie County Sheriff's Office as a dispatcher, and as of late a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Dale; brother, James Seiling Jr., and sister in-law, Jennifer Seiling; nephew, Noah J. Seiling, and his wife Kayleigh Seiling; niece, Samantha I. Jurado and her husband, Julian Jurado; aunts, Janice McKinnon and Marge Hurst, and a special cousin, Lori Keegan.

Deborah was preceded in death by her parents, James and Betty Seiling; her maternal and paternal grandparents and aunts and uncles.

A memorial visitation will be held at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main St. Norwalk, Ohio on Monday, November 23, 2020 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.  Visitors should be prepared for the possibility of waiting outside as there will be a limited number of guests permitted in the building at one time.  All visitors are required to bring and wear a mask and practice all social distancing and mass gathering guidelines.   Memorials may be made to Stein Hospice, 1912 Hayes Ave Ste 3, Sandusky, OH or Huron County Humane Society, 246 Woodlawn Avenue, Norwalk.
