Deborah S. (Collier) Reising (64) of Norwalk, Ohio passed away Monday, December 2, 2024 at Cleveland Clinic Rehabilitation Hospital in Avon, after a lengthy illness.
She was born January 9, 1960 in Norwalk to the late Mary Jean (Palmison) and Kenneth Collier.
Deborah was a graduate of Norwalk St Paul High School, class of 1978. She also had an Associate Degree in Medical Transcription from Terra Tech. She was a member of St. Paul Catholic church, Norwalk. Deborah retired after 40+ years working in the accounting field at Stein Accounting and Stein, Olsen & Stang LLC. She was also a bartender for many years at the Shamrock Tavern. Deborah was a very dedicated employee.
She loved to shop, host parties, help with planning weddings and graduations, and was an amazing baker. (Which she began teaching her skills to nieces and family). She enjoyed crafting, dinners and overnight trips with her friends, especially those she met 46 years ago at Mason's store while working there, self-named the "Trailblazers".
Deborah is survived by her husband, Donald W. Reising Jr., daughters, Nickie Hintz, Ryan (Roger) Proctor II, and Jodi (Casey Ryan) Reising, grandchildren, Taylor (Jamison) Rohrbacher, Bailey (Jared Battle) Easton, Mason Hall, Cora, Dylan and Roger (Tre) Proctor III, Conlin and Hayden Ryan, great granddaughter, Violet Mae Rohrbacher, siblings, Cheryl (Mike) Gfell, Karen (Jeff) Wiedemann, Bill (Cathy) Collier, Marcia (Ron) Poland and Tom (Paula) Collier. Godchildren, Sarah Fries, Brett Wiedemann and Stacy Wilcox, 16 nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews. She also has 1 great-great niece and nephew. Her aunt, Dolly Tomich, and many cousins.
Deborah loved family.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary J Collier, In-laws Margaret (Peg) & Donald Reising Sr., nephew, Thomas G Collier Jr, and niece, Shay M Reer.
Friends and family are invited to her visitation on Friday, December 6, 2024, at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main St., Norwalk, from 11 a.m. until the time of the 2 p.m. service with Fr. Valerian Larawa presiding. Burial will follow in St. Paul Catholic Cemetery.
