Delores Jean Lemons, 87, of Milan and formerly of New London, passed away Thursday, March 26, 2020 at Continuing Health Care of Milan.   She was born December 19, 1932 in New London, daughter of the late Allen and Cora (Haynes) Poole.   Jean was a New London High School graduate.  She had been a Social Worker.   Jean was a member of the Second Baptist Church, New London.

She is survived by her son, Brent Walden of Monroeville; 9 grandchildren and several great grandchildren;  her brother, Clarence (Mary Ellen) Poole of Norwalk; many nieces and nephews.   She was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Richard Tylane Lemons, her siblings, Ethel McKinney, Alvin Poole, Arthur Poole, Wanda Williams.
