Dennis Ray "Chip" Blanton, Jr., 33, of Vermilion, died March 24, 2016 at his home. He had lived in New London, Vermilion, Lorain and Elyria. Chip loved working on cars, gambling and bingo. He will be remembered for how he loved his boys and he was always willing to lend a hand. Survived by sons, Bradley and Jacob both of Vermilion; fiancée, Jodi Webb of Vermilion and her children, Amanda, Wondel and Chalcee; father, Dennis Blanton of Ashland; siblings, Chad (Mel) Blanton of New London, Chet Blanton of New London and Corie Sholes of Ashland; niece, Emily and nephew, Jamyson. Preceded in death by his mother, Virginia and stepfather John Jessie Sousa. Visitation 6-8 pm March 29th at Eastman Funeral Home, New London. In lieu of flowers, donations can be given to the family in care of the funeral home.
