Obituary

Dennis T. Lindenberger, 69, of Norwalk, died on Tuesday, August 25, 2020, as the result of an unexpected accident. He was born on December 21, 1950 in Norwalk to the late John and Leona (Miller) Lindenberger. He is a graduate of Monroeville High School, after which he served in the United States Army.

Dennis retired from Tenneco, Milan after over 40 years. He was a faithful member of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Monroeville. He was also a member of the Berlin Township Conservation Club and the Ohio Farm Bureau. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and hunting, and the local flea markets.

His greatest pride was in maintaining and improving the John Lindenberger Family Farm.

Survivors include his loving wife of 36 years, Susan (Sparks) Lindenberger; daughter, Amy Lindenberger of Norwalk; siblings, Ralph (Marlene) Lindenberger of Union, KY, Paul (Karen) Lindenberger of Norwalk, James (Susan) Lindenberger of Monroeville, Donald (Sandra) Lindenberger of Greenwich, Sister Betty Lindenberger of Tiffin, Sister Karen Lindenberger of Canton, Karen (Dennis) Smith of Pinedale, WY and Ann (Donald) Peebles of Wadsworth, along with many nieces and nephews.

A private family visitation will precede the funeral mass, which will be held on Monday, August 31, 2020 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 66 Chapel St., Monroeville at 1:30 P.M., which is open to the public. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Father Ted Miller will officiate the services. Out of respect and consideration of all attendees, visitors are reminded, if able, to bring and wear a mask and practice all social distancing and mass gathering guidelines. The mass will be also live streamed on the St. Joseph and St. Alphonsus website at stalphonsus-stjoseph.org - click St. Joseph Live Stream. Memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church, St. Joseph Catholic School, or the Sisters of St. Francis, Tiffin, Ohio.
