Dennis Wayne Wyman, 66, of Wellington, passed away on Thursday, June 26, 2014. He was born in Bryan on July 6, 1947 to the late Frederic and Helen (nee Esterline) Wyman. Dennis graduated from North Central High School in Pioneer and later received his degree from Huntington University in Indiana. Dennis began teaching science at Elyria High School in 1981. He moved to the Wellington area in 1989. Dennis was a dedicated Detroit Tigers fan but also enjoyed watching Wellington High School sports. An avid outdoorsman, Dennis loved fishing, gardening and taking care of his yard. He liked to relax in the evenings with his favorite crossword puzzles, but most of all he loved time with his family, whether it was trips to Amish Country or playing with his grandkids. Dennis is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Dawn, his children Cheree (Tyler) Terrell, Jodi Wyman both of Bryan, Justin (Gina) Wyman of Tiffin, Cassandra (Brett) Duta of LaGrange, and Brittany Wyman of Brunswick; grandchildren, Conner, Kelsee, Hanna, Matt, Kara, Brynn, and Austin; and siblings Bonnie Nicole of Angola IN, and Randy Wyman of Bryan. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter Jessica. Friends and family will be received on Monday, June 30, 2014 at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 South Main St, Wellington, from 11a.m. until the time of services beginning at 2 p.m. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Wellington. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Wellington High School Athletics in care of the Treasurer's Department, 201 South Main Street, Wellington.
