Obituary

Norwalk, Ohio - Denver D. Corrick, 64, of New London, Ohio, passed away suddenly Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at his home. He was born November 9, 1951 in Akron, Ohio to the late Denver D. and Pauline M. (Channell) Corrick and came to the Norwalk area in 2006 with then wife Linda Sue Corrick who proceeded him in death. Denver was a 1969 graduate of Kenmore High School and also received a bachelor's degree from the University of Akron. He was the founder of Corrick Custom Electronics in Kenmore and was currently employed as a Mechanical Engineer at Olympus (ACMI-Gyrus-Wappler Instrument) in Norwalk, Ohio. Denver enjoyed woodworking, traveling, camping, fishing, taking photos of special family moments, and recently purchased an RV and was looking forward to family trips this summer. He was a Past Master and endowed member of the Masonic Temple Victory Lodge #649, as well as, a local member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He is survived by his children, Betty L. (Christopher) Clay of Canton and their children, Danni, Makayla, and C.J., and by Mike (Sarah) Richards of Brimfield and their children, Tyson and Gianna. Denver is also survived by his fiance' Patricia Stark of Massillon and her children, Jaymeson Kovach and Christopher Stark. Friends may call on Monday, March 7, 2016 from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service at 6:30 p.m. in Walker Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio. Inurnment will be at Greenlawn Cemetery, in Akron, Ohio on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 9:30 am. Send Condolences
