Desiree R. Cutright

Desiree R. Cutright, 57, of Elyria, died Monday, May 11, 2026, at University Hospital in Cleveland after a long illness. Born on July 15, 1968, in Pascagoula, MS, she was the daughter of Sharon (nee Jones) Hollingsworth and James Hollingsworth. Desiree was a graduate of Wellington High School and attended Bowling Green State University.

Desiree will be missed by her many pets, especially her dog, Yoda, whom she loved dearly. She is survived by her parents, James (Dianne) Hollingsworth, of Wellington, and Sherry Hollingsworth, of Elyria; and her uncle, who she was very fond of and was her go-to person for everything, Bill Collins. On July 29, 1995, Desiree married the love of her life, Kenny Cutright II. He preceded her in death on February 20, 2021.

There will be a family graveside service held at Greenwood Cemetery, Wellington on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 beginning at 11 a.m. Donations in Desiree’s memory may be directed to the Animal Protective League.
