Diane C. Thompson, 79, of Norwalk, Ohio died on May 23, 2021.  She was born on October 30, 1941 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Elmer and Helen Senkbeil.

Diane worked and retired from New Horizons Bakery in Norwalk after many years of service.  She was a member of the Red Hat Society and Norwalk Eagles Club 711.  An avid gardener, Diane's Japanese garden was a stop on the historical society's garden tour.  She was a mentor and very supportive and adventurous.  She loved hot air balloons, traveling, baking, and cherished her family.

Survivors include her children, Michael (Marianne) Thompson of New Mexico, Arthur (Myrtle) Thompson of Florida and Margaret (Danny) Yacob of Norwalk; 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and sister, Sheila Ice of Florida.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her late ex-husband, Arthur Thompson, Sr., daughter, Susan Christie and brothers, Ronald, and Bruce Senkbeil.

Friends and family may visit on Saturday, May 29, 2021 from 2 – 5 p.m. at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W.
