Diania Lynn Dye, 55, of Willard, died Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at her residence after a sudden illness. She was born in Ashland on January 13, 1955 and lived most of her life in the Greenwich and Willard areas. Diania worked at Hillside Acres as the head of housekeeping for the past two years and was the zoning inspector for the Village of Shiloh. She was blessed with a natural ability to restore old homes and loved doing the work on her own. Diania was a social member of the Shiloh American Legion Post 503. She is survived by her loving children, Shonna (Robert) Gillenwater of New London, Jonathan (Jenny) Hess of New London, Scott (Lauren) Hess of North Fairfield and Thomas (Jillian) Hess of New London; 8 grandchildren; best friend, Nancy Risner of Willard and her companion, Ed Brown of Willard. Diania is also survived by her mother, Helen Moser of Greenwich and siblings, Dan (Jenny) Moser of Findlay, Karen Moser of North Fairfield and Brenda (Matt) Corkins of Greenwich. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert D. Moser, Sr. and two brothers, Gary Lee Grosscup and Robert Moser, Jr. Friends and family will be received on Sunday, June 20 from 5-8 p.m. at Eastman Funeral Home, 49 West Main Street, Greenwich where a funeral service will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Troy Diersing officiating. Burial will follow at Grove Street Cemetery, New London.
