Dianne Lynn Shupe-Jenkins, 69, of Norwalk, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday April 26, 2019 at Fisher-Titus Medical Center.

Dianne loved her family and cats, and cherished her children, grandchildren and great grandson. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, antiques, and Christmas.

She was born on December 11, 1949 in Norwalk to the late Charles Shupe and Thelma (Wahl) Slocum. Dianne had worked at The Laurels of New London where she genuinely enjoyed taking care of the elderly.

She is survived by her children, Bobbi (Kathryn Slone) Jenkins, Amy (Robert) Figley; siblings, James (Diane) Shupe and Sally Breckenridge; grandchildren, Kyrstin Jenkins, Izak Bridgett, Jamie Jenkins and Robert Willett and great grandchild, Myles Dresser.

In addition to her parents, Dianne was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Shupe and sister, Mary Ellen Ferguson.

A celebration of life is being planned and will take place at a later date.
