Dominic Anthony Bartoto, 27, of Wellington, died Sunday, January 12, 2025. Born on August 27, 1997 in Elyria, he was the son of Michele (nee Sauer) and the late Edward Bartoto. Dominic was a lifelong resident of Wellington and a 2016 graduate of Wellington High School. Following graduation, he served in the United States Army. Dominic was presently attending Southern New Hampshire University in the cyber security program and was close to graduating.

Dominic had worked at Walmart in Oberlin and recently was working at McDonalds in Wellington. His passion was computers, and he was excited for a career in computer security. Dominic enjoyed playing video games, listening to music, spoiling his cats, and grilling steaks and burgers. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his friends and family.

Survivors include his mother, Michele; sisters Katlyn (Jeret) Wamsley, of Lorain, Megan Bartoto, of Wellington, and Jenna Rettig. Dominic was preceded in death by his father, Edward; infant sister, Rebecca Ann; and grandparents, Richard Bartoto and Shirley Artwell.
