Obituary

Donald H. Braucher, 84, of Greenwich, died Tuesday morning, June 25, 2013 at Willard Health Care. He was born February 26, 1929, in Akron, son of the late Clyde and Margaret (Carbon) Braucher. He was a lifelong resident of Delphi and Greenwich. Don was a 1948 graduate of Greenwich High School. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1951-1954. Don worked for Centaur-LeRoy Co. in Greenwich in the late 1940's, the U.S. Postal Service as a clerk and R.R. Donnelley & Son in Willard from 1965 until retiring in 1992. He also helped at Eastman Funeral Home for several years. Don was a member of the Ripley Church, Greenwich, Golden Rule Lodge No. 562 F&AM Willard and the Mil Bow Mar Post 280 Greenwich. Survived by nieces, Barb Nielsen, Jeanne Clark, Diana and Mike Dimitri and their daughters, Andrea Quinn and Michele Dimitri; nephews, John Clark and Eric Braucher and many good friends. He was preceded in death by his sister, Violet Clark and brother, Arthur Braucher. Visitation Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at Ripley Church, 4130 S. Edwards Rd., Greenwich and Friday from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. service with Pastor Eric Robinson officiating. Memorials may be given to the Ripley Church or Stein Hospice.
