Donald E. Clark, age 81, passed away at his home on Monday, March 21, 2016.
Born May 9, 1934, in Waverly, Ohio, to the late Dexter and Myrtle (Greene) Clark. Don
was raised in Waverly and moved to the Greenwich area in 1961. He served in the Army Reserves for 8 years and drove truck for 60 years. Don farmed for most of his life, operated a dairy farm from 1962 to 1977 and had been a butcher for the Mansfield Reformatory.
He loved to hunt, especially coon hunting. Don also enjoyed gardening.
Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Mirriam (Delacruz); sons, Rodney (Cheryl) Clark of Germantown, Ohio, Rocky (Janet) Clark of Willard and Mark (Patty) Clark of Greenwich; 8 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; sisters, Flora Bell Finley of Queen Creek, AZ and Helen Flynn of Greenwich and brothers, George Clark of Johnsville, Ohio and Russ Clark of San Ramon, CA.
In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by his brothers, Carl, Harold, Chester, Charles, Herman and Grover Clark and sister, Lois Kochart.
Relatives and friends are welcome at Eastman Funeral Home, Greenwich on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 from 5-8 pm where a service will be held Thursday at 11 am. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Shiloh. If desired, memorial contributes may be directed to Stein Hospice, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, Ohio 44870.
