Donald A. Davidson, 101, a lifelong resident of Rochester Township, passed away after a brief illness on February 15, 2017. Donald was a retired farmer. He worked at the family saw mill alongside his father George Davidson. Donald's family had been members of the Rochester Community since the 1800's. He was also a truck driver for several companies which included driving for his brother Floyd Davidson. Donald enjoyed working and was not afraid of hard work. Donald enjoyed driving his car. He was devastated when he had to give up driving at the age of 100. He enjoyed people and life to the fullest. He loved visiting the local diner in Wellington on a daily basis when he was able. Donald is survived by nephews, nieces, cousins and many friends. Donald was preceded in death by his parents, George and Flossie Davidson, brothers Floyd and William, and a sister Esther Kindle. There will be no calling hours per the request of Donald. A private burial will be at Rochester Township Cemetery.
