Donald Eugene Hudson Sr, 82, of Fairfield, California, died February 28, 2013 in Fairfield, California. He was born on March 21, 1930, in Attica, Ohio, to the late Darrell Ray and Virginia (Smith) Hudson. He was a 1948 graduate of Shiloh High School and served in the U.S. Army for two years during the Korean Conflict. Donald worked several years at Westinghouse Air Brake and Akron Standard Mold for 28 years as a truck driver. He also worked at K-Mart in Norwalk where he retired in 1992. Donald attended the Greenwich Church of Christ. He was a life member, past Commander and Adjutant of Mil Bow Mar #280 Greenwich American Legion. He is survived by his children, Sheryl Ann (Martin) Wolfe of Delmar, MD, Shirley Jean (Dave) Arias of Lawndale, CA, Don (Lang) Hudson Jr of Fairfield, CA and Jeffery Brian Hudson of Fairfield, CA; siblings, Darrell R. Hudson of Nashville, TN and Margaret Campbell of Mansfield. Visitation from 5-7 p.m. Friday, March 8th at Eastman Funeral Home, 49 W. Main St., Greenwich with a service at 11 a.m. Saturday. Burial will follow at Greenwich Greenlawn Cemetery with military rites.
